Our Story
Jimmy’s The O2 is in the prime location in the country’s largest music and events venue, TheO2, in Greenwich, London. You’ll love the freshly prepared and ready-to-eat food at Jimmy’s, a favorite among guests on busy event nights and a calm retreat on other days. Within an easy walk from North Greenwich tube station, our restaurant is ideal for lunch and evening dining for couples, groups, and businesses. At Jimmy’s, The O2, you’re guaranteed an atmosphere like no other.
The first Jimmy’s World Grill & Bar opened in 2003, and in 2012 it launched its flagship restaurant in The O2, London.
You will get a taste of cuisines from multiple countries, including Italy, China, India, Mexico, Japan, the US, and the United Kingdom. And on top of all that, you will experience “live cooking stations” where food is cooked to order in front of the customer.
How it Started
At Jimmy’s, we pride ourselves on being one of the first multi-cuisine buffet restaurants in the UK. Over the years, we have continued to evolve by introducing a range of popular dishes from various cuisines. We also understand the importance of catering to families, so we offer a “kid’s special” menu. On this special menu, you’ll find all the kids’ favorites like pizza, pasta, chips, noodles, ice cream, and a chocolate fountain – all added as special attractions for our little guests.
One of the standout features at Jimmy’s is our live cooking stations, where you can watch as their food is prepared fresh before your eyes. These stations are a special highlight at our O2 location, where you can choose your steak and have it cooked to your desired style at the grill. The same would be for the type of Indian bread, which comes in different variants, plus pasta, stir fry, noodles, and Indian street food dosa.
How does it work
When you arrive at Jimmy’s The O2 , you’ll be shown to your table, & a drinks order will be taken. If you’re a first timer, you’ll have the concept explained to you.
Jimmy’s The O2 is an unlimited food feast concept in buffet style dining with all your favourite foods from around the world; Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Italian, and there’s also a selection of salads & don’t forget to leave room for dessert. There are LIVE STATIONS with chefs who will cook food to order…including mix your own ice cream.
So, all you do once seated placed your order for drinks from the drink’s menu on your table and then you are ready to help yourself at the buffet. By the time you come back your drinks would have arrived on your table. Once you’ve finished your first plate, you’re free to go back to the buffet as many times as you like.
